Meyer Insulation Team is at it again!

As in previous years, Meyer once again is donating time and material to another Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley project. Meyer plays an integral role in the building and remodeling of Habitat for Humanity homes by ensuring that the projects are safely and efficiently insulated. The Meyer team gets the chance to give back to the community in a unique and meaningful way. These opportunities also allow the team to test out new equipment.

Raising the wall at the 100th house ceremony

Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Inc. is honored to be a part of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley’s 100th House build. On Friday May 20th, we spent the morning celebrating and participating in the wall raising ceremony. Esteemed guests including the Mayor of Elgin, Dave Kaptain, spoke at the ceremony giving great words of wisdom and discussed the positive affect these projects have on the surrounding neighborhoods.

Our employees will be installing insulation for the 100th house as well as receiving hands on training with our Versa-VacOS insulation removal vacuum and our Series 550 insulation blower. This marks our tenth habitat house in the last six years. As a third generation family owned company, it is important for us to give back to the community.
